“Takes one to know one” comes into play in this arena. Having worked as a professional actor on stage, television and film since 1967, I know the psychology and techniques needed to help actors hone their skills and realize their dreams. To truly know the craft you have to have “been there, done that.” I have.
Working both in front and behind the camera has given me great insight into just the most effective method to elicit greatness in a performer. Since 1988, I’ve worked primarily behind the camera as director/producer and many of my clients rely on me, not only to direct talent, but to cast them as well. It’s imperative for me to really know the talent before casting them. Thus, the importance of spending time with them one on one before I present them.
I teach classes and workshops for actors of all ages, from 5 years old to 85 years young… not only to prepare them for an audition or specific role, but for a career as a professional actor as well.

EXECUTIVE TRAINER
Over the past 20 years, many of my clients have asked me to prepare them for their on camera experience. Because of their requests, I have developed fast-paced, entertaining and informative workshops and classes in executive presentation skills specifically designed for enhancing and improving communication for both internal and external audiences. I have taught executives from Bank of America, First Union/Wachovia/Wells Fargo Corporation, Cricket Communications, National Gypsum, Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast and First Charter/5th/3rd Bank.
After my course, the executive has a better understanding of how they appear on camera or as they speak to a live audience. I also use these techniques to garner the best performances from professional talent, as well as the non-professional participants who may be appearing in some of my productions.
And in recent years, I have also developed a course entitled,
Media Training for Print and Television. The training offers
practical information and role-play exercises which accurately depict why, how, what and when to speak to the broadcast media.
